Sunday worship is a time of celebration and exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ. We worship on Sunday because Jesus rose out of the grave on Sunday, conquering sin, Satan, and death!
We Worship…
Worship is an effect of an inward transformation which leads to gratitude and thanks to God that is revealed in an outward expression of joy and love for the God who came to rescue us sinners from our own folly and sin!
We do so by singing songs and prayers to Jesus, preaching and teaching the Word of God, and by taking communion (to remember the body and blood of Jesus Christ sacrificed for our sin on the cross).
