Boy Scouts
Ages: 5-17 (BOYS)
Boys ages 5-17 are welcome to attend and join our local chapter of Boy Scouts.
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young boys (5-18) that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
For over a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
Boys Scouts at our church are instructed and trained in the scriptures and how to apply them in their daily lives.
The Boy Scouts at our church live by their memory verse, Proverbs 3:5-6:
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight."
Boy Scouts meet on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 pm.
