What is River's Edge?

River's Edge is a Youth Group committed to building lasting relationships with each other and encouraging each other in their journey with the Lord.  Our goal is to get young men and women plugged into church.  We are doing that by providing stability in fun and fellowship. 

We are teaching the next generation about servant-hood; about helping those in need and truly be a blessing.  This generation is bout on "ME" mentality.  Everything is about ME. What I want.  What will make me happy...  Instant gratification, fast food, and information in a flash on the Internet.  Everything is fast, instant and in MY time, on MY watch. 

We are teaching young adults that things happen in GOD'S TIME which is not always what we would like.  We are standing at the river's edge and are getting reading to dive deeper than ever before into God and His Word.

Our THEME VERSE: Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. (I Timothy 4:12)
